So here I am again.  It’s been well, over 100 days since I posted on this site.   I am going to try to get into the habit of doing this on a regular basis.

Back in 2001, when I started blogging, it wasn’t called that, I had a diaryland diary.  It was a small amount of people who did the “blogging” and we all supported each other, it was quite an online community.  Some of the people who I shared with I actually met in person.  I miss those days, but who would have known back then that “blogging” would blow up like it did.  Now, everyone has a blog and everyone has a myspace, or twitter.  Is it weird that I feel like celebrities have NO RIGHT to even be on twitter?  It’s for us “normal” folk.  Since when do we need to be reminded that they have nothing to do but sit back and watch the money roll in while we have to raise our families and work our asses off?

cynical, party of one, your table is ready.

My photography business is going well.  It seems that my business has hit a wall.  I am booked up to November, and then have one wedding in December, but I haven’t scheduled anything for next spring yet.  I don’t know if that is abnormal or not, as this is really my “first” full season as I was only doing partial seasons before and would take the weddings here and there.  I guess time will tell.  I really should be getting out and marketing myself to the area bridal boutiques and to caterers and the like.  I have a wedding this weekend and next weekend, then I have one weekend off and then more weddings through June and July.  All of August and September are booked solid… and with softball practices for my daughter and coaching her team, it seems as though summer may fly right on by me without a second glance.  I just hope that I stop long enough to breathe and enjoy the nice weather and maybe get a nice golden brown.

Today I applied to be a trial person for the new palm pre.  I hope that they chose me to try the palm.  Lord knows I hate my crackberry.  Mostly because it just SUCKS.  I’ve used palm before and loved the interface and software, and I would KILL for an iphone, but I’m not shelling out that kind of money just so I can say I have an iphone.  I already have a 17″ g4 powerbook that is a paperweight right now.  I don’t need anymore.

Speaking of that 17″ paperweight… I sent it in to and when I sent it in, it was working, I chose not to have them repair the LCD screen, which they originally said was the bad mother board, and then said they “can’t” diagnose apples because they are harder to diagnose.  When I received it back, it was DOA.  It will NOT start up, and they are refusing to do anything about it.  Claiming even, that they did not take apart the computer to reach the LCD, but they HAD TO because they tested the inverter board & cable and to test the LCD on an apple G4, you must disassemble the computer.

I’ll keep you informed.
